Where did u get the intake vent?Drax wrote:P1 engine removal
Finally made a start on removing the old engine. slow progress, but its something.
Removing an engine is a bit like making love to a beautiful woman.
First, you have to open her up nice and wide
Study your target before entering, you need to remember what goes where
Then go in balls deep, dont stop - just watch you dont do your back in
Any thick excess liquid you come across, be prepared to have to have plenty of rags to clean up

Re: Drax's JUN Prelude: H22 Papa Smurf edition
well after numerous attempts to remove the power steering bolt... it's a bit mullered

tried an air gun ...nope, shoving long hard items in holes (giggedy!!) to stop it spinning then a breaker bar on the bolt.... nope; because its a cast pulley it just disintegrates, then tried it in a vice, still spun! then cut a section off then put it in the vice again so it couldn't spin...finally the bolt was coming loose and after a while realised the threads had obviously spun as it was spinning but not coming off
so, replacement p/s pump required
