@vanzep - the pulley hasn't come off at all mate, its still on the car. I just mentioned the woodruff and crank bolt as im changing the belts so if I need them I would get them.

I don't know how long I was driving the car when the belt slipped. Im hoping I haven't damaged the crank.

If the crank is damaged how can one tell. There was no difference to how the car drove to be honest.
Yes the pulley cant really come off as its right up against the bodywork but if the bolt has come loose then you will still need to inspect the keyway to see if it has been damaged/enlarged and id recommend fitting a new woodruff key so you can check this. When my pulley came loose i took the pulley off and found the keyway was damaged so i had to replace the pulley.

I doubt you have damaged the crank tho :)

i always buy my belts as per there size rather then as per vehicle just get the size and search for that on ebay that way you can choose the quality you wont at a price you like :D
success is the ability to go from one failure to the next without any loss of enthusiasm :D :D

I have brought a new key and bolt so hopefully the pulley isn't damaged. I need to take the car to Gatwick on Tuesday so im hoping its a straight forward fix
