My first Prelude that one, a 2nd gen 1.8 EX. I sold that one some time in the mid 90s. It gave me the Prelude bug. I do miss pop up headlights.

If I get the time today I’ll do a proper profile of my current car and a history of my previous three. The pictures are up on Flickr of them, but sadly not the ones that show what happened to my lovely cassis red 4th gen.

How did you get the pictures to embed like that? Wouldn’t work when I tried.

Thanks! When I was looking for a 5th gen it was specifically that colour that I went looking for.

The car is pretty clean, sadly as I don't have a garage or even a driveway it's got a few door dings and scratches, and also three of the plastic wheel nut covers have lost their paint over the years. If I can get replacements I will because it would make a big difference to the look of the car. Also my Motegi badge has lost some of its letters (not sure if someone tried to take it) so it just says Mote now.

Mechanically the car is brilliant though, everything works and it's got leather seats which is a big plus. I rarely do more than about 5k a year in it so it keeps the mileage low but does enough to keep it running nicely.

when you click the embed link on flikr to copy you just need the [img]link [ /img] bit in the middle

Thanks Toadster. Well I have to agree with you about the colour of course!

Thanks to your recommendation I'll be going to Japfest with very shiny headlights.
