I know Nitin and norks27 are going to this, but they are entering the show and shine. I have never entered a car in a show and shine before and I think I have missed the boat on that anyway.
So, would anyone be interested in going to this? There are a couple of groups who are looking for more cars to fill their stand space who we could piggy back onto. I don't really want to go up on my own. If there is some interest I am happy to organise.

I'm going but in the show and shine with the s660 also. You can try and apply for show and shine of you can pay and turn up in the normal section and then meet up with us lot it's not split into groups. Most park side by side.

I don't think my car should be in the show and shine, looking at the pics online it looks like you could eat your dinner off those engine bays. My car is in very good condition for a 20 year old car but it is not in brand new condition. Also, I don't fancy driving for 2 hours to then have to clean the car, plus cleaning it without snow foam, hoses etc is only going to create swirls.
mr_drc & fithotblonde are you going up with other groups then?

Honestly show and shine is for any car. Most cars have damage, rusty arches. Also everyone, I mean everyone quick details their car the show, no one full washes. As long as its waxed or ceramic coated before hand a decent quick detailer won't swirl the paint.ATR84 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 29, 2019 8:57 amI don't think my car should be in the show and shine, looking at the pics online it looks like you could eat your dinner off those engine bays. Yep, I wipe down with a waterless car wash thing, then a quick detail with some Bilt Hamber stuff, (and gel the tyres).RattyMcClelland wrote: ↑Tue Jan 29, 2019 5:17 pmno one full washes. As long as its waxed or ceramic coated before hand a decent quick detailer won't swirl the paint

Even if we don't get to park next to each other we should organise a mini (pre or after meet) photo session.
I'll have camera equipment ready.
