Bobs 5th Gen Accord Aerodeck VXi

I haven't done a build thread for years so you'll have to bear with the terrible writing :?

I have had this car for nearly a year now and have big plans for it, that'll hopefully not take years to get done lmao!

Its a 1996 Honda Accord Aerodeck VXi import
Currently its a 2.2 F series auto

Before this one came up I had another one which had had a H22a2 swapped in which was awesome but the body wasn't very good and when this came up which has no rust it just seemed like a good idea to swap the H22 into this one

I currently have a k20 eg too which will be up for sale to allow funds to get the accord all spic and span, engine redone, full kit to go on (stillen front lip, wald rear lip, side skirts and top spoiler) some paint corrections and other bits and pieces.

I've also got a lsd box and lightened fly wheel to go with the engine too which should make it more fun and dull the loss of the eg lmao!

The engine is now out of the old car and needs the cam seals doing, timing belt etc. one thing I am wondering is while its out what would be worth doing to the engine for a bit of peace of mind more than anything, as its the family car I don't want to go crazy with its just standard really.

Slight change in plan now. The h22a2 I had is been replaced by a JDM H22 :D
Still need to do bits and pieces on it like seals and stuff to be on the safe side. Anyone recommend anything to check/chamge on the engine while its out for someone with minimal knowledge

Still going to do the cambelt and and some new seals for the sump and cams just need to get the parts and get it done at some point!
Any tips for any special cambelt tools required or anything like that? :)

For the cambelt, you need the bottom crank pulley tool and the cam locking tools.
Sealey do the crank pulley tool and there are a couple of suppliers for the cam locking tools.

Bit annoying but the starter has gone on the accord leaving me without my estate which is really annoying! forget how practical this thing is!
It also means that I'm having to step up on the engine conversion to get it back in action which unfortunately means I'm selling my k20 eg if anyones interested
