@atr84 - K24 is a slightly higher block than a H22 and its priced at just under £20k Euros. I would happily spend that money for that type of power!!

Reading the article, it says they can build one to the spec of your choice. While 345bhp in a Prelude would be amusing, I suspect 260-280 would also be very entertaining, not to mention cheaper.

Something to consider if any of our H22's ever go pop :D

I think @Merlin has a 270bhp h22 engine in bit somewhere. Form memory he said that was a £10k plys build.

Would a lude be able to safely put down 354bhp through the front wheels? Plus that 2.5 engine has ITB's so I'm assuming constant tuning would be required.

My engine is being rebuilt currently for around 260-280bhp mark. Should be around £4.5k. I already havea sleeved block from previous rebuild so £6.5k is more realistic.

That's pretty good for the money you are paying @RattyMcClelland. 260-280 horses in a lude is about right. I don't get how the newer hot hatches closer to 300 horses manage to transfer the power.
