I think it's the shaft that the rear wheel bearing hub slips over and the nut threads onto.

That is weird one - surely the spindle must be ok unless it has had a very hard impact that has misshaped it but even then if the hub and bearing fit on to it then it should be ok as that is the moving part - the spindle doesnt move.
I have a few hubs with good bearings if you want to try again - but i dont think you will find a used spindle anywhere as it would be very difficult to remove from the knuckle- so you might be better looking for a complete arm assembly.

It sound like it is a rear hub that you need, which is the bearing and hub combined.bb4lightweight wrote: ↑Fri Aug 13, 2021 7:28 amwell i have a bit of movement when i grab the wheel top and bottom.I replaced the wheel hub with a new one and put on the car.problem there still.Put it on the mot testers ramp and he done the suspention test.He said my wheel bearing is shot.i said cant be i just changed it.so he says it gotta be the spindle.I really dont no guys.Vanzep, why do you have to be in scotland lol.im in east sussex damit
This is an example as I'm sure you could get it cheaper hunting around.

BB4 hubs are non abs - i have one here which came off a BB4 and was working fine - its a genuine Honda part so should do the job. Its an easy job to replace the hub
Edit: sorry to answer your question on rear arm assembly - any 4th gen one (2 liter 2.2 non vtec, 2.3 litre and 2.2 vtec ukdm or jdm auto or manual)will do - as always your best to go for one of same exact model and year if you can but you can still use one with abs but will have few minor differences such as abs ring and sensor. I wouldnt bother with 5th gen ones - i once briefly had a few 5th gens and one them had receipt for set of new wheel bearings and a further receipt a few weeks/months later for another new rear wheel bearing on one side..i dont really know if it is worse wheel bearing on 5th gens or if it is the folks who drive them
