If its just taking the old one off and putting the new one on, what's wrong with your local garage? Its not a difficult or specialist job if they have a ramp.

correct merlin and i would imagine about £20 should cover it.

as for the pickup alex i 've got a lsd box to put in and all the bits back off the bag o bum droppings to convert it to manual thanks to littlefella, my mrs has other plans for this weekend though so its got to wait til next weekend for fitting. coming soon a roar on an industrial estate near you :lol:

Awesome, when can you next fit me in? Im just worried about the oem manifold being stuck to the head! But yeah i have the manifold and downpipe, decat center section and rear box, rear box is 4th gen but the hangers look all the same to me :D

4th & 5th gens have different hanger locations on the back box, they share the same hanger location where the pipe connects at the axle:

4th gen - One hanger at the tip end and one at the axle end

5th gen - Two hangers at the tip end

Make sure you have the correct one for your car or it will need modding. The exahust I bought for my 4G had the hangers for both generations so I just had to chop off the hanger I didnt need.

Yeah i have only one hanger on the box itself and 2 on the pipework, how much modifying will be needed? I heard you can bend the hangers to fit or just use the one hanger for the rear box?

up 2 you really, i stay open til 9.00 on a mon tues and wednesday so if your working during the day im pretty flexible.
don't worry about the fact you bought the wrong exhaust :oops: :lol: im sure i can alter that.

Sounds good to me! Well im quite flexible too! Friday day time next week would be good for me :) glad you can adjust it :) only the rear box is 4th gen :) some of the nuts are dam tight on the cat but hey :)
