I totally agree mate, the Prelude is like no other car. Just given the choice, the Golf wins purely on it's long distance comforts and phenomonal grunt. Whilst I was late to driving, after having been a biker for 12-13 years without even considering a car, I have since driven quite a few between my own, those of friends and family and numerous company cars (including the likes of BMWs and Mercs). That said. I am yet to drive anything else that matches the fun and feel of a Prelude. Certainly not the fastest in performance alone but quick enough, especially when vtec kicks in. The handling and general feel certainly makes up for any shortcomings in power, at least in my mind.
