Hi from North Wales
Hello from sunny North Wales.
This week I'll be picking up my first 'lude (I've got to get down with the lingo straight way). Admittedly, it's for my OH but I'll be driving it now and again.
It's a 1997 Gen 5 2.2 VTEC without 4ws, or so I believe (do they even exist?). It's maroon/dark red with Type R alloys, cream leather and tiptronic.
It's been sat for a few months so will need some TLC but that's ok, as I'm getting it for a very good price (low enough to take a punt on it without driving it).
I'll report back with some clearer model info and to ask for advice about parts no doubt. I know it needs a rear caliper for starters.

welcome to the forum!
All UK models have 4ws, also there is no type r preludes/ wheels they will more than likely be motegi wheels. You need to look more into the 4ws, as said...a lot of dodgy sellers pull out the 4ws fault bulb out of the dash.
Welcome to LG anyway
