you are all pissing in the wind (prepers that is), why would anyone in the right mind build a large stock pile then go and advertise the fact on tv
. if they think a few guns are gona protect them, think again, a few guns wont stop a whole hord of people. if they need water or food, especially for there children, nothing is going to stop them.
its simple, be like me, if it goes tits im alright as i have a pagan mentality
how long does it take for a population to desend into chaos (like murdering for food and water), i will tell you - 2 days
we all saw it in new orleans after huricane katrina
yep thats right, 2 days, scarey ainit.
preping has been around prob since the dawn of mankind, its just called prepping now, its actually a normal human instinct

certainly is matey but it doesnt hurt to at least be a little ahead of the game you cant plan for everything or cover all eventualities but at least you can give yourself some wiggle room

This is why I've been stockpiling "magazines"Slashdotdash wrote:sod important things like food and water, deprive people of the internet for a day and there would be anarchy by bedtime!
I've even kept a few clean ones to use as currency.
As for other provisions, I think I'm fairly sorted on all fronts.

Don't believe in this 21/12 jobby at all, but you only have to remember the aggression that starts coming out in petrol station queues during the strike.
First to go: all the gobby little chavs. At lunch today I saw some lad try and kick off with some guy just for looking at him, apparently "if you look at someone it means you wanna fight dunt it". I swear Norwich is full of utter dicks, most of them on the estate near me with their Mockney accents
seen so many groups of kids still in their school uniform all milling about in the pavement being obnoxious and not moving for people trying to walk by
I reckon I'll make my way to Winchester Tower
high rise of flats round the corner that's just full of old people that go there to play their music boxes and talk about a dog they had four decades ago. They have loads of tinned food as well I reckon, plus something for every ailment known to man.

giving your self wriggle room may cause you to be a target (abit like a free shop). if folk are going to do this then they really need to keep it too them selves, it would be better if this or these people just vanished, disapear into a pre prepped place, away from prying eyes) when it goes tits. if they disapeared at the start they wouldnt be missed by the masses. also, carting around suplies is not going to be possible, mayeven prove deadly, and not just food but items that can be used by others too. i have seen this on tv (prepping) made me laugh but i did think about it afterwards, buy a good book on stone tools and how there made
there free (stones that is) lying around all over the place.
