Have a look in your motherboard manual to find out where the jumper is on your board, it's usually not too far from a silver coin shaped battery.
First you might need to make a note of your BIOS settings, unless you already know what they all should be.
The process for a reset is power down PC, remove power cord, move BIOS reset jumper from 1-2 to 2-3. Wait a minute. Move jumper back from 2-3 to 1-2. Plug power cord back in, power on, go into BIOS and set time, date and any other settings as necessary. Most modern boards will auto detect everything, but if for some reason it doesn't you'll need to know what settings to use or it might not work properly.
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

Any computer wizards out there?
Thread revival
So I finally got pissed off enough and took the computer to PC world for them to tell me whats going wrong with the PC. 2 weeks later they say the motherboard is knackered but can't get a replacement.
I might be able to get a 2nd hand one on ebay but are there any other options? All the rest is working fine so might I be able to buy a motherboard (and cpu if needed) and get it going that way. What should I be looking for in a cpu/motherboard combo?
Cheers,
