I completely agree Mudgey, all those things would improve the flow and efficiency of it, but it's all further custom design work. This was a simple cut and shut job. See the pics of the existing manifold and the spare Landrover V8 chargecooler in my build thread that I've handed to Pete:

The restrictions are to keep it simple that the inlet side had to keep the top part of the manifold for OEM fitment of the JRSC plenum and that the outlet (into the engine) had to retain from the fuel rail studs forward, so installation of the fuel rail and injectors wouldn't be compromised. This left us with a fair amount of area in the middle to remove the EGR section and runners. I left it to Pete to come up with a solution with what can only be described as a 5 year olds (mine) sketch of what I 'thought' could be done.
