Is that cos you've got your power steering and the alternator wire coming over? Or it physically won't lift off as it hits the jackshaft?
Weird, cos a few guys in the US recommended this as they've removed theirs like this, one of which did it for adjusting the cam gears during timing (reversed gears so bolts on the back).
