Glamping: North Yorks - Any good driving roads?

Banter goes here, and doesn't have to be Lude related

That's a very good route, my mum lives in Skipton and every week we go walking at malham cove (ref look what I did today thread) the route between ingleton and hawes then over buttertubbs pass is probably one of the finest stretches of road I know of. Have fun :-)

Muker to Skipton via Ingleton?
Looks like you've picked a good route as it is, especially if you use some of the back lanes.

Yes, that's the one, that must be an airbase not far away, probably where I used to see the large radar dishes. What about the railway at Settle

Butter tubs pass looks good, especially nice on a large bike, think the fj12 could do that, perhaps next summer, instead of France

Butter tubs it is!

Not sure if we have time for Settle too now :-(

Plan revised!
Wed: Bradford to Richmond via Ingleton to Hawes (Buttertubs Pass)

Thurs: Richmond to North York Moors (Scarborough, Whitby)

Fri: Richmond to Bradford (possibly Brimham Rocks, but more likely to digress to a Halloween BBQ in York or there abouts ...)

Nice Toyota, my boss had a B reg one of those brand new as his company car. Mine was a 1.6L Mk2 cavalier! Nice images, and to think, you passed my door. Liked the image of road sign to Barnard Castle. Used to stay at the large hotel there, interesting story at that place, but not for general consumption on an open forum!! Mmm, might make tour of Britain my holiday goal for next year on the FJ12.
