Morning Wayne - the colour is Pacific Blue my friend, the camera phone didn't do the colour any justice. Regarding the parking here it's bordering on anarchic. People double park or even triple park because they're too bloody lazy to walk. Then the 'custom' here is to sit seething in your car, honking your horn like mad till the idiotic parker comes to move his/her car.
Like I said, it seems to be out of control here and as you mentioned about the UK, the dings and scrapes here are just seen as an everyday occurrence that no one seems to care about.
I tell you, I'm getting paranoid even before I've had the car resprayed as I know I'll be on a knife edge all day long once it's been done.
I do hear from my brother that red-mist is all too common nowadays, mind you, he's a fine one to talk about red mist as he's a bit of a shouter himself.
Stay safe and drive defensively Wayne.

I was devastated only a week into buying the slk to come back to the shopping car park and find a drokking daewoo yes a drokking daewoo about 12 inches from my passenger door took a look and oh yes there was a silver line down the door and a tiny tiny dent. 3 seconds after starting to reverse the owner came back to the car so i said " excuse me you've opened your door against mine and hit my door and marked it" i can assure you i didnt she said, after a couple of non abusive comments back and forth i drove off fuming. If i hadn't Already Started reversing out i could have got her to open her door and check if the marks lined up. Which they would. Pulled into another store carpark and inspected it again without having to crawl down a 12" gap and started walking to the store entrance and the same woman was entering the store from the other side of the car park and chirped up again but with the back up of her obease daughter. This is where i found it very difficult to tell the 14 ish year old that if she wasnt so drokking fat her mother wouldn't have had to park so close to my car.

I love it when people park really close gives me an excuse to try to walk down the gap with the nice rivets on the back pockets of my jeans making sure I don't get my jeans marked by their paintwork

I got charged once for calling my (now ex) wife a stupid cow in front of a police woman. Using threatening or abusive behaviour. She had just thrown a portable telly out through the front door at me. The charges Were later dropped when the police woman had a 10 second conversation with her
