Epic fail by my housemate.

Banter goes here, and doesn't have to be Lude related

He never knew how to change a lightbulb so when it blew, he went and bought another lamp. He had about eight lamps in his room

Drop their children a lot?

I meant 'If they are not preparing their son's for the world outside of home what the hell are they doing?'

i left home and could take care of myself. My mother gave me prepartiory lessons in not being a tool in the home and it suprises me that women with clean houses turn out clueless children.

When we were at Uni our floor shared a common kitchen. I remember one of my Uni mates coming into the common area with a pot and a tin of soup and asked how to 'cook it' - he had never heated up soup on a hob before, only a Microwave  and we didnt have one!

My flat mate during our 2nd year only ate chicken drummers or battered chicken steaks and oven chips 7 nights a week. It was all he knew what to 'cook' as he knew how to work the oven

I look a my Dad sometimes and wonder how he would cope if my mum wasnt around for any reason. Last week she and a few workmates went out to celebrate a colleagues promotion. I kid you not my mum alwas ensures the cupboards are fully stocked and the fridge is a chef's dream. He made himself dinner - a tinned potato and tinned butterbean mix :puke:.

I love being in the kitchen. Cannot beat a Saturday evening spending an hour or two making a great meal, red wine in hand and (for the Glaswegians) the GB Experience pumping on the radio at the same time :D
