been on magnatec. on mobil fully synth 5w50. smoking like a muffin.

going to throw some cheapo halfords in there and see what it does with that.

then i have some GULF competition 10w40 to go in.
6th gen Prelude please Mr Honda. RWD 2.4 turbo lude.

you dont by anychance have an aftermarket air filter in there :lol: :twisted:

there have been loads of which oil threads, there always an intresting read (see what others are doing).
the one thing for sure is most go for 10w40 as for brands it apears there are many, and i never see a bad oil report from anyone :? does anyone have a DONT USE. :lol: :D

I use Mobil 1 0w40 in my bb4. Have tried a few others, but always seem to come back to this. Run's really well on it. Kicks out a bit of crap at high rpms,but with 180k miles I guess that is to be expected.

this is what ive wanted to put in for a while but not sure if its a good idea as the motor has always been ran on 10 40 semi syn and is not far off the 100K mark. that wouldnt bother me but i know semi syn isn't up to the job of track days which is why i want to start using fully syn. what do you guys think?

I use Mobil 0W40 fully synth. Motor has 55K on it and haven't noticed any problems when I spank it through VTEC, however I'm not the one watching the arse end of my car disappear over the horizon :twisted:
