yeah, give or take, depending on the place etc, you should be looking at 3-4k for a whole car inc some welding and shaping. its a hell of a lot of work to get right...

Well its a small amount of rust in one arch and a patch on the other at the bottom(done for the MOT) which needed tidying up.It is not a quote for a full window and other bits out or off restoration that was quoted.

I now have a price of £1400 tops including new metal and full respray. Believe me where its being done I will watch them like a hawk on the new metal part! :) Neither quote is for the sunroof as I will be replacing that with a 5th gen one eventually(it is vinyl wrapped at the moment. Also my cash will stay in my pocket until it is done to my satisfaction!

The other guy must have thought I came down with the last shower of rain!

Well I am having a full respray with new metal welded in the arches everything off windows bumpers doors etc with I lost count of how many coats of this that and the other inner arches treated as well for £1600 total. It would have been cheaper but for the Cassis red pearl paint which is expensive. Collected and delivered back to me 13th August is the start date it is expected to take up to two weeks. Still the old girl is worth it! Local enough for me to drive over and check progress as well. Not the Backfields cowboy Mart.

Who's Axford?

Wiggz its the whole car thats being done and I have shook on it now and do not go back on my word. Its a recommendation from the guy who does my cars so if its a crap job he will bury the guy. He is also giving a 2 year guarantee on the arches not bubbling or rusting.(insane but I am not complaining)

That's a good price Paul, especially with that 2 year guarantee. 8)
