i dont know anyone with a grinder :( none of my friends are clever enough to be able to plug one in let alone use one!

the only power tools i own are a drill,chop saw, reciprocating saw, a blender and a toaster! any ideas!??! :lol:

Bud, I have an angle grinder. :D

I tend to have most things you need / want for you car. :P

Just a thought, could you not drill out the ends of the studs and just have the holes in the flange like an exhaust to just bolt up?

they are solid rob! easier to knock them out with a hammer. you might want to heat the flange up before you smack them though, mine cam out with relative ease when i did this! :)

drive to chippenham, i can use my mates oxy cet blow torch and gas the studs off. then heat up the cat and knock the studs out and fit it all back together with simple nuts and bolts
