If your mates are mechanics then you will do it in a day or 2 depending how hard you work on it, you will have to add a wire for oil pressure sensor, vtec solenoid and maybe knock sensor.
Disconnect the drive shafts,
Engine mounts,
Engine loom (top right hand side of engine bay)
Disconnect powersteering pipes from pump,
Disconnect clutch line to slave cylinder,
Disconnect rad pipes, Heator matrix pipes- these are tough to get off, I've cut mine of with a Stanley knife and hope to have enough left to fit on again,
Disconnect 2 small powersteering pipes at gearbox,
Disconnect gearbox cables
Disconnect battery's cables, and tray and cables to starter motor and earth cables,
Disconnect vacuum pipes all around the bulk head to intake manifold,
Disconnect exhaust at down pipe, 2 bolts at the back of the block, and disconnect lambda and 2 sensor at there plugs.
Mmmm I can't think much else at the minute.
