Many thanks mate, but aren't the chrome ones two piece and different wiring? I think i have a single black-backed one sorted, if it falls through I'll be in touch and I appreciate your generosity.bristol_bb4 wrote:Like I said before mate I have a pair of facelift chrome backed headlights you can have for free! Ill even come and meet you soewhere with them if it helps you out!
In fact I appreciate all of you guys help, it's nice to see such a community coming together to help out. I used to get it on the CRX forum with my old car, but I don't see it so much on the civic forums with my new EP3. It's part of the reason I'll be selling it soon and going back to the old skool. It may have been a pain in the arse and never 'finished' but my old CRX was never boring.
I should be starting a new job in a month and I'm negotiating a company car. Should this happen my ep3 is 100% going and i'll be building a fast road & track toy. I haven't decided what it'll be yet but I've shortlisted either another CRX (this time B18c6 converted), an ek civic (with an H22 conversion), a dc2, an e36 328 or perhaps a BB4 'lude. I love driving my mum's one (used to pinch it when my CRX was being worked on) and think it could be a weapon if properly sorted.

JDM pre facelift headlights were black backed, plastic lensed, one-piece units. The Chrome backed ones are JDM facelift headlights, apart from the chrome backing they are the same as the black ones. The two-piece lights you are referring to are glass fronted headlights and seperate plastic corner lights, these are UKDM - but I'm pretty sure the wiring is the same.
So yes, the chrome one-piece lights will fit straight in
