Oil + filter change!

No problem nitin, good luck :) Make sure you wear gloves, oil's hard to clean off! And have a deep dish to catch the old oil.

Something like this is very useful if you it yourself from now on:

The oil drains straight into the oil catch pan that you can seal up and easily transport to the dump 8-) Don't forget the oil should be taken to a garage/municipal dump that has the right facilites to deal with used engine oil! Just ask them if they'll take old oil. I can't imagine a garage saying no to be honest, if theres nowhere else to dump it.

I have a huge recycling centre 2miles from my house so I will just take it there! :idea:

I just went to Halfaurds and bought a oil filter wrench from there (£6ish). Just incase the filter doesn't come out. :twisted:

nitin if you are going to do this make sure the car is not just on a jack. Block it up with something or use axle stands. You don't want to bring the car down on yourself.
