Now what a perfect day it is today. I can get much done.

Spent the best part of 2 hours masking the car up to reveal the shut lines. Iv already done the under bonnet wing shut lines.

I have the inside door edges exposed for some colour too as well as the inner part of the bootlid.

The paint air dries nicely today as the ambient temp is 14degrees and panel temp in the semi sun is 23degrees C. PERFECT for waterbased colour.

As we speak the Clearcoat is curing. Im mostly air curing it for several hours but i have the heat lamps onthem too.

Car is booked into the bodyshop on Monday morning 22nd April. I should only take me 4 hours to get the colour on, clearcoated and cured in the oven for 1hr. Must drive home from mansfield carefully though. Fresh paint hours old and motorways :o
