Re: Newkid's bb1, fujitsubo modified
@merlin sorry for late reply
This is the front bracket fujitsubo provide to replace one at manifold to front of block

This fits to downpipe to connect to back of block but is to short so needs to be replicated and made longer

The extension pipe that's been modified has the hanger for the rubber mount fitted to it, due to it being modified a new one was welded in place to help support it. I plan to make a new rear mount as I'd rather the exhaust is supported fully like it's meant to be.
Billy @ completeautosolutions did it for me. He's done all my exhaust work for years.

ATR clutch
Start of parts needed for summer.

Plan is to remove engine/box in the better weather, clean up engine and bay, fit new belts/seals, waterpump and clutch then refit

Mot
Cars mot ran out last night. Car also decided to jobby itself from the clutch master cylinder. Luckily I had a spare so got that swapped over and rebleed.
Took it for its mot. 2 advisories that I have the parts for. Steering rack gaiters and one cv boot. Other than that cars perfect so it's motd for another year.

Twinpots
Went up to the local scrapyard I got the bargain a8 intake from and picked up another bargain. Oem twinpots. Exact same ones as off the ATR.
These ones come on the weird accord coupe with the 2.0 or v6. The carriers are prelude 282 ones on that model of car so left the carriers as I already have 300 carriers and discs.
The good thing is with them being the same caliper as the ATR means they bolt to the correct side keeping bleed nipple at top and main piston in place.

Twinpots at the top standard prelude bottom.
Paid £26.40 for the pair
Plan is to clean them up and fit at same time as the braided lines.
Worth maybe rebuilding them?
@merlin what's the braking difference between twinpots and the single? Sure you have it calculated out somewhere.

The braking power between the Lude's big single pot and the twin pots is achieved through the larger disc. The clamping force between the two are reportedly the same or very similar. The reason twin pots are needed is to more evenly spread the clamping force over the larger disc, even though the pads are the same size.
IMO if the piston seals look good I'd leave them alone and just paint them. Great price for them anyway
. I paid £90 for my ATR calipers.
