It's alive!!!!
It's alive!!!!!

On Saturday Me and the guys did the last bits to the car to get her running. Everything went in fine, almost too easy
The engine got a load of cheap oil and an engine flush and the gearbox got 2 bottles of Torco MTF and 3 fl/oz of Redline friction modifier.
She didn't start on the first turn of the key as we had an earth issue on the engine block, after sorting that she idled fine even though the ignition timing was a little out (still warming up):

It sounded even better after the ignition timing was set to 16 degrees BTDC. While the car was in the air and the engine was running I jumped in the car and cycled through the gears to get the gearbox fluid in and around the new synchros. Then we dumped the crappy oil (which was uber black due to the engine flush) and put on a new filter

I would have had this up earlier this week but I have been a away for a few days Glamping in Southern Scotland
