I'd rather go to Lepe country park ( I'ts basically the same with a carpark right on beach ) . SO45 1ad for sat nav'ers . It has been a while since i've been to either but calshot can get really busy sometimes.....

Ok, let's look at what we know then.

@Dbo, @W1ggz, @Doobie, @Thebusofwoe, @paul72, @knightmare, @big damo, and myself are all going.

@simoncider..you in?

@Peachy...tbc.

@thebusofwoe will be turning up quite late in the day.

The options appear to be;

1. Calshot Spit
2. Lepe Country Park

We not interested in the New Forest then?

I'm happy with either option 1 or 2; never been to Lepe so that might be nice. And quite close to new forest anyway if we did fancy a drive..

Points to consider:

1. What time are we starting in the morning?
2. What time are we finishing in the afternoon?
3. What do we want to do while we wait for the bus of woe?
4. Damo & Wiggs like fish.
5. What are we doing for food? (bearing in mind it will probably be quite nippy & windy)
6. Does anybody else particularly like fishing? Never done it myself, so could be fun? Maybe that could be an activity for everyone to participate in if we can get parked right next to the seafront somewhere? And we could catch our dinner? :lol:
7. Will the weather be too treacherous for BBQ? Or do we prepare for that at any rate?

Lets hear your thoughts peeps, plus any other ideas. ;)
