Its not just the ride quality. Its how the suspension works. Tyre wall is part of the suspension design and the camber curve, caster and scrub radius and all design around a 4" sidewall or the stock 205/50.
Changing that changes the way the suspension works. Some people use skinny tyres for track to suit their needs but the Prelude is designed for road use.

Oh yeah for sure, but the aftermarket suspension parts that I do have (shocks and springs) are going to have some effect on the handling of my car compared to an OEM one as the ride height is lower and the spring rate is higher, so I'm wondering, in that instance, will that 5% in question have as much impact on my car as it would on one running full OEM suspension?
