Without the spigot ring it might not have been seated properly. When I fit the wheels I make sure everything is OK before tightening. All the fafing only cost an extra £40 so no real harm done. Just a bit pissed that I gave up my slot for pro tuition tonight as I didnt want to take the tutor out in a juddery car.

Really though the drive up to Knockhill this afternoon will be the true test, cruising at motorway speeds.

Well its not sorted. Horrendous judder last night. But with the help of Indigolemon we tracked it down to the passenger inner CV. I only got 15 mins of track time last night as a result, and that was pretty judderific

The problem before was that without enough time and the right conditions to test the car it was hard to pinpoint what was wrong.

I had a feeling this would be the problem - Rich at PAW runs up-graded spyders & bearings as
the Prelude is prone to this happening.

Im going to fit the new DS in the next week. Knockhill is really hard on suspension and driveshafts. I might upgrade it if happens again, but at the moment is only a £35 fix.

Yes, but remember he runs a Teg ;)
I do believe in fact that the 'upgraded' ones might be Lude based :!: 8-)
