Darn it, I don't know how easy it is to take apart the headlight units to reach the inside of the lens otherwise it'll be costly I'm afraid :?

When I get some new lights I will just have a play with the old ones.. Will put it in the oven and open them up. If they get messed up I can just chuck them in the bin or a 'skip' since they are so big..

Fogging from the inside is 99% of the time just moisture.
Take them apart, don't stick them in the oven, you'll melt the housings. Just use a hairdryer on full heat and work your way around, peeling the lens from the housing as you go. Then clean the inside of the lens. And make sure it's bone dry before putting them back together. Use an all-weather external sealant to seal them back up. Leave them 24 hours to cure, then reinstall.
If the outsides are fogged up still, then thats easy to fix with the sandpaper and meguiars method.
Here's a thread showing you what to do for the outside... http://www.civiclife.net/board/topic/57 ... eadlights/

I still need some mint lights!!

Fogging from inside my passenger side light. Because someone has put in some high voltage bulb and it has burned out the headlight cover from inside. So polishing from the outside won't help.

I need a passenger side light. but if you have both going for cheap then I will buy. 8-)

Nitin,

I have some you can have, if you are stuck.

They are NOT mint, though - I think one top clip (RHS) is broken and the lenses have a few marks where I went a bit ape with the Dremel.

Well, they were OK last time I looked...

Sorry SupermarineB,

I will wait for some mint lights,

Will get the body shop to put it all together when the car goes in so I can wait a bit more.

Thanks for the offer though, appreciate it. 8-) :D
