Hey buddy check out these pace notes I found. I think these will help quite a bit to combat the unexpected hairpin at 90mph.
life saver?
also found this route map with suggested gears and warnings. I'm gonna get it all printed and laminated I think.
useful
I am going to be doing my level best to shmoosh up to a few of these ''Ringers'' I keep reading aboput for a passenger ride in a real car. Something with over 350ftlb and 400bhp would be nice...

I hope I will meet a lot of members from the famous UK clubs (LG, PUK, LB, etc). You are not so far away guys
We (the Bulgarian fanclub) will have two cars for the event - mine, and batkosio's. We will have to travel 1900 km to Nurburgring and this is only in one direction. The travel costs are something around 500 EUR in both directions. I have to point that the average monthly wage here is about 370 EUR
So... don't be shy

I've done everything I've wanted to do:
- Clean EGR valve & ports,
- Sea Foam (1 in fuel tank & 1 through intake),
- Replace distributor cap and rotor,
- Replace spark plugs,
- Replace fuel filter,
- Replace O2 sensor,
- Fit in-car video recorder.
I've upgraded my breakdown cover for Europe and notified the insurance company that I'll be in Europe for a few days. Have also bought the items required for European driving such as the breathalyser, headlight beam deflectors and GB sticker.
I've got Thursday off work to wash & wax The Lude ready for the weekend.
@lewd lude lover are you and Nick getting on the same ferry? What's Nick's username?

I think nick logged on as 'oddoneout' being he ownes a scooby but he has been keeping up on the meet details via the group on FB. We are staying over at a friends in dover on thus night and getting on the 6:40am ferry, pride of kent.
what time are you hitting calais? do you want to meet and convoy? I will be traveling at 60-65mph to conserve fuel with the occasional squrt if on a nice road to offset that saving

Would it be OK if I meet with you two guys at Dover? I'll see if I can book myself on the same ferry.lewd lude lover wrote:I think nick logged on as 'oddoneout' being he ownes a scooby but he has been keeping up on the meet details via the group on FB. Sounds perfect to me. I usually drive at 60 mph anyway (I'm old and I drive a 5G).lewd lude lover wrote: I will be traveling at 60-65mph to conserve fuel with the occasional squrt if on a nice road to offset that saving
