Right, I've got it up and running, so here's a pic of the pins going into the connector which are surprisingly sturdy.

Here's a video of it working, its not a very good video, I didn't really know what you would want to see but if there is anything specific you want to see let me know and I'll do another video.



And finally, this is what I ordered off ebay to put the connector on the end.

As for the connector, you can use either an aftermarket one, or an OEM connector from a junkyard.

So do you just leave it on that 1 screen? How do you switch it off?

it is on all the time when the car is running, like a proper car trip computer.
I lengthened the wires for the control buttons (it is not only touch operational), and they can be put anywhere you want.

Hmmm, something has gone wrong with LG. I'm 100% sure that @batkosio replied yesterday to my question. And I posted again afterwards. But now those posts have disappeared!?!
