Re: Peachys red 4th gen.
Last photos were taken as i was playing around with my Nikon DSLR i got for xmas. Thought i would get a few of the lude-I am very much a novice though and learning the trade in photography. Perhaps in the future i will have some really good pics up!

If you're just starting out and still on auto mode, turn the flash off and work on composition, that way you can see what works and will give you a feel for what conditions are favourable. From there you can start with manual focus, exposure etc. as you get more confident.
Composition goes a long way, technically excellent photos can be ruined by poor framing and technically bad photos can be improved with good comp.
All IMO of course and I'm in no way profesh. I'm sure @nitin_s1, @lxstuart, @Shiny, @mart609 can give you better advice. Apologies if I've missed anyone, just I recall these guys have taken some great pictures are shows etc.

Ok Cheers Donald. I have a manual built into the SLR so can learn as i go along as well as using the booklet which came with it.
Had a good play around with it today on auto today despite the terrible weather! Yes and as i get more confident will change the settings on it.
Give it a month or so and im sure i will have some very good piccys up.
