Right.

- I adjusted the dizzy and retarded it a touch. But i dont have a timing gun.
- I replaced the one step colder copper plug that are now soaked in fuel and black after 30secs of idle which means its running rich despite the A/F gauge reading 22.1 on odle. But remember i had the Greddy emu unplugged so the injectors were not compensated. The plus were replaced with OEM no platinums since they are cheaper.
- I checked all of the supercharger install and its perfect.
- Grounds are unchanged. They have always been good. Im a bitching car audio geekery so all wires are class.
- I put in more fuel since the fuel may have seperated...maybe not.
- I recalibrated the A/F gauge but i cant remove it from the exhaust. Car is too low even when jacked up. SO i did in exhaust calibration with compressed air blwon up zorst from compressor in my van.

I then started it. IT WOULDNT START AGAIN but i didnt hear the fuel pump prime this time.

Not sure why. Thats the 1st time its done that.

Locked and unlocked the car to initiate the fuel pump again due to the immobilizer.

Cranked and ignition staright away.

Fast idle was fine.
Engine sounded as it should. Revs dropped after 10sec like normal.
Good oil pressure
Vacuum is still at -17 which im thinking this must be normal.
A/F are at 13-15 up and down

BUT

The A/F rise up to 20 on idle. If i hit the accelerator the go to 12.5-13.5.

My bro in law says i should disregard the A/F readings on idle.

Gave it a few throttle tweaks and its sounds peachy.

Just going to go out now and bleed the coolant and take it down the road to free up the brakes as they are welded now. 8-)

I think the initial problem was one of the sensors int he dizzy.

Well im not truely happy yet.

The lower TB coolant line keeps leaking. I have even put new hose on it and it still leaks.
Maybe PTFE tape?

Air fuel ratios are still sitting around 18.0....not sure why? I pulled the plugs again and they seem ok. Not clean anymore but mildly sutty.
Also i can hear its not very smooth. Every time you quickly blip the throttle there is an electrical relay type noise almost like a fuel pump but from under the bonnet.
Its a bit smokey. White condensation smoke but its been say for 16weeks ish.

At idle oil pressure is around 50psi which i read is normal???????
Vacuum is now perfect -19-20 and i cant find any vacuum leaks.

So not sure what else to do now. Im unsure of why my A/F meter is reading super lean. I ideally need another meter to shove up the exhaust so see whats what.

Or do its need a PROPPER tune so idle correct and run propperly

I am sure that is normal. My car reads high oil pressure until it gets up to temp where it drops to around 30-35psi. I have never seen it go below 30psi.

When you say 50psi for oil pressure, is the engine up to temp or is this when the engine is cold? Merlin's engine has a few mods which makes the oil pressure 30psi at idle. I believe PAW said about 20psi, mines about 17 psi when warmed up. From cold it will be about 90psi dropping all the time as the engine warms up.

Yes it's 80ish psi on start up but drop as it gets warm.

Cool well you got it running :-). I personally think that the afr doesn't have to be spot on at idle. Its sure wont be perfect at idle. You need to worry about afr's at full throttle under load. So a 3/4th gear run from say 30mph at WOT. Then read from then. :-)
