Dash Button Wanted for Leccy PS

Post by Mudgey » Sat Mar 01, 2014 5:18 pm

Hello,

As some of you know I am in the process of installing electric power steering to my Lude and am now looking for an interior switch to turn the system on/off.

I have a removable panel on the right hand side of the steering wheel just below the dash vent that has spaces for 3 obround push button switches, only one position is used for the rear fogs which mean I have 2 spare. Does anybody have a spare switch that would occupy one of these slots for sale? I would also need the connector and a length of wiring behind so solder my wires onto. I am not worried what is shown on the switch!

I am also after two of the metal clips that hold this part in, does anybody have two of these I could buy also?

Thanks!!!

any latching switch will do the job buddy.

i've fitted toyota MR-S electro-hydraulic power steering to my H22 EJ Civic and i'm looking for a similar switch...but i'm looking for a specific switch with a relevant icon on the switch just cause i'm a bit OCD

Orite buddy,

I think i may be using the same system, how have you got it wired in and how well does it work? Ive not had a chance to try mine out yet tho.

Reason i want those specific switches is so i can run an OEM button and not have to drill a position for a different looking switch.
