Carbon Kevlar bonnet painting

Awryte guys,
Some of you have seen the disgusting state of the bonnet on my car, a body shop has confirmed it is made of carbon kevlar and has been wrapped in 3M carbon wrap which has me confused lol
But they want a fortune to spray it.
I'm gonna do it myself, used to airbrush quite a bit a few years ago and i'm quite handy with a rattle can so thought why not. I have a few cans of the correct paint, but im not sure of what primer to use ? the bonnet is rough underneath.
Should i filler it and sand back then prime ? or use a filler primer ? any special type needed for the carbon kevlar ?
and also any recommendations on a good make for the primer and a clear coat ?

Remove the carbon wrap and see what the condition is under it. If its just milky but flat just give it a really good key up and go on with paint. You arnt painting carbon. You are painting epoxy resin whitch sits ontop of the carbon.

Is it is scratched and scuffed then go over it wil 240-400grit papers, fill any imperfections and sand flat again with 240-400. Anything you feel WILL show. Degrease and prime. Make sure its dry or it will shrink. Then sand back with 800-1500grit and go on with paint.

cheers aha im not airbrushing it just using spray cans cba digging out the compressor and spray guns and that again
any good clear coat readily available in a normal shop ?

I take it this method would apply things like sideskirts, spats etc.?
