Could someone tell me what sensor this is as I went to swap it with my bros one of his atr mines is suppose to be atr too but sensor is totally different my engine is in a civic coupe it's the one going into intake mani Image here's mine on left black one and his atr one on right white Image

Not 100% sure but i think its the coolant temp sensor
The ATR manifold that i have here came out of a 4th gen and has the white plug shown on the right in your pic

I will be checking oil level today so will have a look and let you know what sensor/plug is on my BB4

It wont be the coolant temp sensor as there is no coolant in the intake manifold. I'm sure @NafemanNathan knows what all the connectors are on the ATR IM.

Was told it was the intake air temp sensor but mines is totally different to my bros atr one?? Was also reading that the intake air temp sensor was built into the maf :?

Yes of course its the air intake temp sensor -thats what i meant :lol:

there is nothing like this on 4g standard vtec intake manifold - certainly nothing i can see from the looking in the engine bay there might be something on the backside/underside that ive missed tho

Had another look and the other end of the connector has been spliced on so just need to get that bit lol
