DIY car carpet (Red JDM style)?!

Post by wchestnutt » Wed Apr 04, 2012 10:30 pm

Hello all,

all in the name of DIY and I am very bored of searching for a red carpet for less than £500, what are the ins and outs of making your own car carpet? Namely, how might you get the correct creases in it?...

I am wanting a red door cards and carpet, but black mats, so you only see flashes of red, but the problem is going to be havign as few horrid cuts in teh carpet as possible...

I will be making my red door cards next week or so, and hopefully some carpet can follow........ Any thoughts or has this been tried by anyone/failed horribly? Can't find any info anywhere abour it
