URGENT CV joint tripod bearings

Post by Totalfinlay » Wed Oct 10, 2018 11:14 am

Hi, i urgently need to find out the spec of the bearings that are on a tripod hub of a 1993 prelude 2.0, i think they are also on 2001 accords.
bearing specs would be most useful
if not where could i get the tripod hub separate or the whole joint?

probably quicker/easier/better to just buy a new inner CV joint from ebay?

There is some info on the bearings in a recent thread
http://www.ludegeneration.co.uk/viewtop ... 12&t=22322

I sold three to tom but still have three of the oem bearings left and both inner cv cups for 4th gen if you want :)
i dont have the tripoid bearing holder that knocks onto the shaft

The new inner cv joint is for the other side of the car, they are different on each side. J n R do both sides (I've used them before), so you could order another one from them.

J and r when I called didn't seem know anything about the female side ! Annoying as it would've been perfect to have today, there is a breaker local to me that has an 02 accord, thinking of trying to fit the female axle of that ?
