Which Exhaust?

Hi guys,

So my exhaust has recently started blowing, and I was planning on upgrading to a stainless system anyway, so what would people recommend? Searching google doesn't seem to give much choice. I'd like something that makes a bit of noise when I put my foot down, but nothing too Loud or ASBO as it's my daily. (I've already got one straight piped car for being a yob!).

Also if anyone is selling anything that might suit me then please hit me up!

Hey Chris,

I responded to you on Facebook also, as I mentioned I have the Skunk2, plus a decat and Mugen header. It is loud if you want it to be, you can drive it in such a way as to not annoy the neighbours, but then mine is not a daily so it is not such an issue for me anyway.

Thanks mate! Sounds like the Skunk2 is the way to go. As it turns out it was actually my flexi that was blowing, so I'm not in desperate need of an exhaust now. Means I can take my time deciding and keep my eyes peeled for something second hand

I have a brand new unopened Invidia N1 exhaust for sale - I brought it for my prelude I have just sold . I paid £549 but would take £500 for it if your interested!

Is the mugen header worthwhile?

Well, mine came with it on from Japan, it has a dealer certificate with it as well, I suspect it might have been on the car from new. I have no real way of knowing whether it is an improvement over the standard header or not, but as it's Mugen, you would like to think so. They don't make them new anymore so you would need to keep your eye out for a used one, probably from Japan or the US.

Alternatively you could get a custom header made up by someone like Solid Fabrications.
