Injectors A5/A8 compatibility

From what I've read A5/A8 injectors deliver the same amount of fuel, but could someone please tell me if they are interchangeable?
I have some A8 ones spare and want to get them cleaned then swap them over. But from the photos I can find online they look different.
Does anyone know?

All the injectors on 5th gens (OBD 2) are the same.
