Reason why engine wont start on 3rd gen?
Well it won't start.
It will crank over and keep cranking until battery dies. It just won't ignite. It's had difficulty starting when engine is hot and usually had to wait a few mins too cool before starting.
I'm removed the plugs and they seem near here nor there so waiting for some new ones. I will charge the battery and see if it being disconnected helps.
No alarm etc.
What else can I check?

Are you getting spark when cranking?
Are you getting squirt...? Best check the pulse with a multimeter, since it seems you're not.
Could be anything from a blocked fuel filter, weak lift pump or a dodgy sensor.
Main relay is a good place to start, though.
EDIT - seem Mercutio's post
Actually, that's the very first thing to check, bleedin' o'vious as it may seem!

Not thats odd. Iv just gone outside, fans off and listened for the fuel pump and you can hear it prime. I looked on the dial cluster and saw the engine light check still lit, turned off and primed again a couple of times and check light goes out like normal.
Car starts 1st time no issues. Took it for a drive to get hot.
Pulled up and car starts after hot too.
