Gearbox Oil How Much?

How many litres do I need to do a full change?

M2B4 LSD if it's any difference...

Also what grade? Amsoil comes in various difffent ones!!

2 Litres of MTF man. Either Amsoil, or if you've no 5th gear crunch, contact Nimbus - they have Torco MTF which is also ace!

2.2 litres off the top of my head, never managed to get more than 2 litres in mine though!

2.2 is for a full fill . I.E the gear box taken apart so all oil is removed.. You only need 1.9 for a drain and change...

I tend to tip my car one way for draining to get as much black oil out as poss and then fill on the level till I see oil start to drip back out the filler hole..

Will I get away with 2 bottles, which will come in just under 2 litres, or should I get 3 to be safe?

Yeah thats the stuff, you should be fine with 2 bottles.

Did mine recently (M2B4) bought two bottles amsoil and had a little left over.

i did mine recently too (LSD box), got it from Honda ... although they said you have to provide your own oil tub as they simply drain it from a barrel for you....

so i bought a cheap fuel can for it.
