Max Power, Revs, Fast Car - Preludes

Post by Shiny » Wed Aug 29, 2012 9:25 pm

I had a clear out of my car mags many years back and the only thing i kept was a load posters, stickers and features on Preludes. This must have been 10 years back. Just goes to show that even back then (i had my green Accord at the time) that the only car that really appealed to me was the Lude.

We had a further big clear out a couple of years later and i was sure i binned them.

Anyway, fast forward to today and the missus has been clearing out the room again and handed me a folder declaring "What's all this crap!". Oh my, the lost Lude files...

So boys & girls, as i am your gummigod, you can now worship me further as i reward your sins with these delights from way back around 2000 to 2002 -

Any one for sticker bombing?

Plenty of posters, sadly that old slapper Jordan is in some of them! Here's a small selection for your viewing pleasure :)

Urban Racer 5's are still uber cool.

I had a set on order, but they were replaced by Ikons, so i had to have them instead (which looked awesome on the Accord).

Are they the alloys in the last 2 (car) photos? If so I love them, they're exactly what I'm after for my Accord, except I want powder coated white 8-)

There is this one which I saw at a Max Power live show, probably 9-10 years ago now.

Was then bought by someone local to where I lived so I saw it a lot. It was sat on air suspension and the fronts broke, so it was driving around looking ridiculous - more so than usual.

I know the dude who had the silver 4th gen (C13 RLS), he is my mates brother. That prelude actually got featured again at a later date after he sold it to a dude who owned the 1st prelude i ever bought. He changed a couple of things and completely retrimmed the whole interior in white leather 8-)

this was the Lude that made me want 1 :!: then after he sold it, the other guy used to meet up with a couple of 5th gens, and my mate and i would watch them convoy off together, and my mate used to always say "i swear the back wheels turn on those cars" 8-) :P

Cheers for posting Shiny 8-)

Although, i have to say that without exception they are all hideous

In fact, almost every car that was ever featured in Max Power was pish...

Burds were good though :scaredtoss:

I'll have to dog out my old Max Power Live photos, I'm sure I have a few more Preludes in shot, amongst the tits and arse.

Yeah, the second Lude has Wolfrace Urban Racer 5's. Awesome looking wheels back in the day.

All gash literally on the last pages.

I have a max power mag with a Fusion audio green 4th Gen with Racing harts, carbon and hydraulic suspension. Admittedly that got me in to Preludes back when i wanted to Chav up cars.
