bb4 hubs onto bb6

Post by craig_jdm » Wed Apr 24, 2013 9:48 am

So can you put the bb4 114x4 hubs onto a bb6 like a 4 stud convention??
I hit the limiter in my h23 vtec still didn't kick in

Without having sone it i think you can.
You can put the 5 stud hubs on a 4th gen by using a washer to space the hub nut out before you run out of threads On the 4th gen shafts.

Or use 5th gen 2.0 hubs?

I think it should swap over ok.
4 stud to 5 stud - you run out of threads on the shaft and need the washerbehind the nut.
So the 5 stud to 4 stud should work fine.

It's not a mega thick washer required for the 4 to 5 stud conversion, 2 or 3mm. The US prelude forums have more info.

So I can't see there being too little thread going the other way. Maybe Craig can tell us if he decides to give it a try. :D
