What's this pipe? (3rd gen)

Sorry for the noob question, I don't have a lot of experience with engines, but what's the big fat pipe that goes over the exhaust manifold? I want to relocate it cos it looks bum droppings, but want to know what's in it first :P

Would I have to drain the fluid to replace the hose then refill it again afterwards?
