Caliper Refurb DIY?

So the Type S. Its been off road for 3 years

(in case you didnt know)

So im not sure if the calipers are stuck but i assume they are. The brakes are solid at the moment as the pedal has been pushed.
I have some ATR calipers in a box in the house and the seller said they were fine. Would they need refurbing being sat in a box?
Also the rears on the car will need doing?
Kits are cheap on Brakes international.

Is there a DIY for the rebuild?
I would appreciate any input.

If it were me, I would refurb them. The car's not being used so this is the perfect time.
You won't have to worry about them for a few years once they're done.

I want to do mine but I can't have my car out of action for too long.

i have a bigred full rear seal kit if you want it?

from what i hear your best to get it done pro as its hard to get it all as clean as it should be before rebuild.

Buy mines and use them to refurb your ones and then sell them on to someone else.

Its about £70-80 per caliper on Brakes int for the rear Prelude and Accord Type R fronts but dont have the N/S front ATR in stock. They want an extra £60 per caliper also until i send my used ones back.

For the refub kits its £18 per caliper.

Humm decisions decsions.

Mine are in such good condition with minimal rust so I want to keep them.

imo if your going to spend the cash getting her back to glory you may as well get them to do a better price on all four and feel confident that they are going to stop you every time.

its worth a try to get a discount.

It is very easy to DIY. Duo is the man you need to ask.

He came over to mine last year and we did all 4 calipers in one day, that was remove them, strip, fit new seals, rebuild and fit back onto the car with new pads and discs.

He did a How-To over on the other side, I think.

Also they need respraying in either white or Light silver which is easy, or red if i bring myself to do it.. HUmmmmmmmmmm

red = fail imo. its old, been done and not right on the S.

try a darker silver maybe. i doesnt leap out quit as much..
