Right guys. I WANT AIR CON.
Iv decided.
So its never worked. The previous owner said it needs a new AC condensor and expansion valve.
But the dryer will need changing too.
So parts list
- NEW AC Condensor
- NEW Expansion valve
- NEW Dryer
what else?
Where from?
Rock auto do all these parts at excellent prices but they are all from the US and different warehouse stockists.
Any other ideas?
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

Previous owner said the system imploded last time hes added charged gas and loads of metal got into the system. Think it was the expansion valve.
Anyhow the air con was open and ac condensor out of the car for 2 years before new engine went in.
So do you think just try a new expansion valve.
Regas and see how we get on?
Phil of course im gay. I want to be gay with you.

I'm not sure, just seems a shame to replace everything without knowing exactly what's what. The guy I used is 5 mins from me, called Turner Automotive. He just checked and re-gassed my air con, but he does lots of diagnostics, might be no good for what you need but worth a call?RattyMcClelland wrote: So do you think just try a new expansion valve.
