Fuel Sender Unit Gen 3?

Post by CrunchyAdams82 » Thu Aug 15, 2013 10:47 am

Does anyone know where I can get a fuel sender unit for my Gen3?

The fuel gauge isn't exactly accurate, & wanders quite a lot. So I thought I'd look at changing it as it's quite a cheap part. :)

Struggling to find one though.. :roll:

Any ideas? :D

Something like this, but for Gen3;

Not majorly, it just goes down; then a little bit up; then down a little bit more; then up; then down a little bit more & so on as it empties. Doesn't stay true like a new car that's all.

And I know it's an old car, and they all do it..but it's an easy fix if I can find the part. ;) And just another thing I can do to make it a little bit better you know.

It's my pride & joy now..so I want the best for it. :)
