yeah i have seen that most adverts state the tyres are from current production ie/ less than two years old

Have you checked out Tyre Leader, they've got a fantastic range of tyres available, much better range than the likes of Camskill, MyTyres, BlackCircles etc.
I could have got my preferred tyres from them if I'd have known about them, rather than having to get something which wasn't my first choice from Camskill.
